Presentation

On March 31 a participant in Asian Young Women's Leadership Training made a presentation about the training together with participants in UN Seminar at Wesley Center.
The main focus was diversified cultural background each participant came from and find outs through the visits to slams and Smoky Mountain. The presenter was moved the children's hunger for attentions to them. "They wanted me to see them, touch them, and speak to them."
Absolute poverty at the Smoky Mountain was a shock. The striking contrast of rich lives and lives in poverty gave them new insights. At the same time, heart warming smiles of the country with relaxing manners of carrying out projects provided them a precious opportunity to think of efficient but too busy lives in Tokyo.
Her presentation was very informative for other participants who had just come back their UN Seminar in New York and had no idea about this leadership training.
