Leadership Training Duration

Phase 1:  Orientation and Briefing
December 26, 2011

Prior to the volunteer experience, all volunteers will arrive and stay at Shalom Center, a place to stay in Manila during arrival and departure. The orientation for one day program takes place at UCCP SHALOM CENTER

Phase 2: Christmas Institute
December 27-30, 2011

Participants will experience the Region wide gathering of yourth in celebration of the Spirit of Christmas

New Year's Celebration
December 31, 2011-Jan 1, 2012
As a tradition, Filipino Families celebrate the New Year with in different ways. Participants will be housed to different families in the province and Metro Manila and share with them the traditional way of New Year's Celebration.

Phase 3: Immersion Program
January 3-4, 2012
Introduction and orientation to placement site, exposure programs, dialogue and mission work with the host institution.

Phase 4: Asian Young Women's Leadership Seminar
January 5-9, 2012

Phase 5: Assessment
January 10, 2012
Overall debriefing for all participants coming together for sharing their
     1) experiences
     2) reflections
     3) plan of action at home base in their country
     4) evaluation and assessment
     5) recommendations
